Mathieu Provost is Managing Director at global investment group La Caisse, where he leads the Venture Capital and Technology team. In his role, he manages a $2 billion international portfolio in addition to overseeing direct venture and mid-market tech investments in Québec.

With over 20 years of experience in private equity and venture capital, Mathieu has held a variety of senior leadership roles. Before joining La Caisse in 2016, he worked at Anges Québec Capital, Investissement Québec and Telesystem.

 Throughout his career, Mathieu has supported numerous companies through critical growth phases and successful exits, including an IPO.

Mathieu currently serves on the Boards of Silk, Talent.com and the Canadian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (CVCA). He has previously served on the Boards of Dialogue (TSX: CARE), Ecobee, Poka, Ivara, and X2O Media.

 He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance major) from HEC Montréal and is a CFA Charterholder.
