Building on the success of last year, please join the Venture Capital Association of Alberta (VCAA) as we discuss Global Challenges & Opportunities in the Tech Sector. This is a unique by invitation only opportunity to network and experience high value sessions and speakers complimented by a full day of guided skiing at Sunshine Village.
The program will include:
*Keynote speaker Todd Hirsch, Senior Economist, ATB Financial, who will present an economic overview, focusing on Alberta and the tech industry, and how it all fits into the global environment.
*An A100 panel featuring local tech luminaries discuss their success stories and where they see opportunities going forward
* A US investment bank that specializes in tech company IPOs, discussing their view on the outlook for tech company "exits"

The VCAA Cleantech Conference & Golf Tournament was hosted on June 7, 2011 at the Elbow Springs Golf Course. The event began with a half day conference program focusing on the "Convergence of Energy and Clean Technology". The day included 18 holes of golf and wrapped up with dinner & reception.
